ABOUT

We are a nonprofit organization,

helping schools evolve their teaching to accommodate different learning styles.

We hope to help students simplify the complexities of math by using a creative and movement-oriented approach to learning. Even the most prestigious schools tend to cater to the more “conventional” learning styles. Naturally, different teaching methods are more effective to different individuals, and there is increasing appreciation for the importance of recognizing and accommodating different ways of learning and thinking to expand access to knowledge (e.g., Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences). When we find innovative and more effective ways of teaching math, we have the potential to empower more students, include their ideas, and expand the possibilities for their futures.

OUR PURPOSE

Expand access to understanding for students of different learning styles, in turn finding new ways to close the STEM gap.

OUR VISION

Accessible, authentic, and adaptable teaching to decrease the achievement gap.

OUR APPROACH

Through a comprehensive literature review, interviews with leading faculty, and the creation of lesson plans and teaching materials, we can begin to enact change in the often closed-minded way we approach teaching mathematics.
